This Valentine’s Day, end your romantic evening with a luscious cocktail. These unique, romantic drinks will keep the amour flowing until next Valentine’s Day. Enjoy!
The Valentino’s Delight is a rich, creamy drink that doubles as a dessert. Combine 1 1/2 oz. bourbon, 1 oz. sweet ruby port, 1 oz. Kahlua and 1 1/2 oz. heavy cream with some ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake, pour and garnish with freshly ground nutmeg.
Although this fruity, tangy cocktail is named after the most infamous pair of doomed lovers in all of literature, the Romeo and Juliet is perfectly safe to drink (in moderation, of course). Combine 1 1/2 oz. Patron Silver tequila, 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier, 1/4 oz. Chambord raspberry liquor and 2 oz. chilled peach juice with ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously and garnish with maraschino cherries and an orange spiral.
A romantic twist on the traditional mimosa, the Amour a Mosa is pure bliss whenever you’re in the mood for bubbles. To make, combine 1 1/2 oz. orange-infused vodka, 1 oz. chilled mango juice and 1 oz. chilled orange juice in a champagne flute, and then fill the rest of the flute with your favorite sparkling wine or champagne. Garnish with a fresh viola, pansy or nasturtium flower for a truly romantic touch.
A luxurious combination of Italian flavors, the Touch of Venus invokes the Roman goddess of love. Combine 3 oz. dry white wine, 1 oz. Limoncello, 1/2 tsp. amaretto and 1/2 tsp. fresh lemon juice in a wine glass and garnish with a lemon spiral.
